So… have you seen the movie yet? I’ll try to watch it over the weekend. I really do hope the story is good. The visuals are definitely great.
Baby Doll is now available for download. Note that I did some modifications to the ” Contender ” template. This version has bangs, pigtails, and a smaller base ( supposedly to help simulate the short skirt ).
I suggest to follow the glue order found in the template. It will really help you put Baby Doll together. You will need to add a step #Zero however, which is to glue something ” heavy ” ( like a coin ) at the back ( unprinted side ) of the area marked with a red circle (see image below). Do that after pre-folding. This is because if you dont, the toy will tip over due to the smaller base – I found that out the hard way.
Note that you’ll need to snip off a part of the leg ( rear side ) to help make Baby Doll stand up. The snips are a quick way to fix the issue – you’ll know what I mean when you’ve glued all the tabs.
You can download the template here. Subscribe to this blog to receive the password in the mail and gain access to the downloads section. Registration is free, just enter your email address in the subscribe field at the right-hand side of the page header.
That’s all for now. Enjoy the movie!
