Hello Everyone, before anything else, I’d like to wish all of you a Happy New Year! I know it’s about 3 to 4 days late, but hey, better late than never, right?
I do hope everyone had a great time during the recent holidays. I know I did, as I basically “vegged out” as much as I could to get some much-deserved R&R. It’s time to get back on track. Let’s start the year with something BIG, shall we?
Introducing MechaGodzilla!
Yep, that’s right, he’s the latest from Shaun Breedlove’s Kaiju collection. Check out his cool copy below – just a little something to accompany his great pictures, template, aaand the special kaiju-with-city art piece above ( WOOT WOOT!!! ). Many, many, many thanks to Shaun for coming up with another great Kaiju paper toy!
“ What’s the best way to fight a giant monster? Build a giant robot version of that giant monster, of course! I mean, this is kinda common sense here, people. Not to mention, you get brownie points if you build it out of a metal that doesn’t really exist. (i.e. space titanium… it’s titanium, from space! Which makes it way better than ordinary titanium now, doesn’t it?) And now you can build your own MechGodzilla. This one’s the Showa Version. ”
As before, you can find more info about MZ here. For more Kaiju stuff, go here.
Finally, you can download the template here. Subscribe to this blog to receive the password in the mail and gain access to the downloads section. Registration is free, just enter your email address in the subscribe field at the right-hand side of the page header.
That’s it for now. Cheers!

Nice! Is there any way of telling how many people download these guys? Is that within your power, oh admin??

Hey Shaun,
Sadly, no, I don’t have any plugins installed to keep track of downloads at this time. If you (or anyone out there) happens to be aware of a WordPress plugin that can do just that, please do let me know.
One thing to note though is that there is a noticeable spike in the number of page views whenever I release a paper toy template, so I guess there’s an option to extrapulate the number of downloads that way, but it would be more guesswork real numbers.
Cheers!
