Very nice. I personally use a very strong liquid super glue. The kind for like acrylic finger nails that come in the really little bottles. It’s super strong, dries super fast and bleeds into the paper really well. Especially if you’re using a thin cardstock which you should probably be using anyway. I usually get a two pack at the dollar store for, er, well, a dollar. ^_^’

  2. James Ronald Lo says:

Interesting. I’ll have to try that out myself 😉

  3. Shaun says:

It’s so strong and fast drying. You’re gonna have to occasionally peel away your fingers from the paper unless you use your tweezers. You may even leave some of your epidermis behind, lol. >_< Trust me on that James haha.

  4. James Ronald Lo says:

But I like my epidermis, I can’t survive without it. Hmmm, maybe I shouldn’t try it after all LOL 😉

  5. Gary says:

    Hey James,

I love your tool case ! Where can you get one (in Metro Manila) ?

    Cheers,

    Gary

  6. James Ronald Lo says:

    Hey Gary,

I bought the case from MUJI while I was in HK a couple of years ago. I’m just not sure if the MUJI branches in the Philippines have them. I’ve been thinking of having my own version done – to mass produce and sell, I just don’t know where to sell it LOL.

    I hope this helps.

  7. Gary says:

    Hey James,

Can you recommend a good, locally-available (Metro Manila), and not too-expensive Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS) source and specific package (printer model / ink brand) ? I plan to eventually print out all your templates, but am worried about the costs….

    Thanks !

    Gary

  8. James Ronald Lo says:

    Hey Gary,

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend a printer as of yet. I use an old B&W laser printer that I use for prototyping while most of my colored templates are produced through a local print shop. If I’m not mistaken, they print on card stock through a colored photo copying machine hooked up to a PC. I have been eyeing the “CraftRobo” though – I think it’s perfect for paper crafters like moi. I’ll eventually post a review about it in the near future. Hopefully this helps.

  9. max says:

Hey Man! You’ve got some really awesome (paper) toys in here! I just wanna ask.. what type of paper would you recommend for such toys? any gsm in particular? Thanks man!

  10. James Ronald Lo says:

    Hi Max,

120 gsm sounds about right. You can find other recommendations included in the downloadable templates.
    I hope this helps.

  11. max says:

  13. James Ronald Lo says:

    Hi Awan,

Thanks for your comment. I don’t quite understand it though. Do you mean you to say that you created paper toys of thundercats and would like to post it here or are you requesting for thundercats paper toys?

    Cheers!
