The Hulkbuster Paper Toy, Now Available!

Thursday, April 30th, 2015

Well this paper toy was tough to do LOL

I just realized how rusty I am in putting together a paper toy – I’m not that used to my graphic tools anymore. I even forgot how to upload files via FTP LOL. Plus this character had a boatload of detail needed to get the look right.

What a way to jumpstart things – I’m glad I did it though.

HULKBUSTER, SMASH!!!

Anyway, it’s finally finished. To those who requested for the feature that allowed fitting an Iron Man paper toy inside the Hulkbuster, it IS possible to do, but I didn’t have time to work that into this model, so, maybe next time.

The Rumors of My … Ummm – Have Been Greatly Exaggerated!

Wednesday, April 1st, 2015

OH MY!

It’s been more than a year since my last post – What happened?

A number of things actually, which I’ll expound on below. But before anything else, I’d like to confirm that I am very much alive and kicking.

And now for a bunch of answers to a question:

Why haven’t I been posting? Plenty of reasons actually, and here they are:

  1. I lost my access to the blog (DON’T LAUGH) and didn’t have time to recover it until recently.
  2. I’ve been busy with work – I have this¬†game dev company that works with different clients. Running it is no joke, and it eats up a lot of time.
  3. My team has been working on the first of our Hyper Games episodic series Рcurrently in limited soft launch, due for official release this year.
  4. We’ve been working on MashUP Tactics too, also due for release very soon (fingers crossed) Check out our page and like it!!!
  5. Most importantly, for all the GREAT PAPER TOY ENTHUSIASTS out there, ¬†I’ve also been working on this:

Coming very soon to an app store near you...

More details to come in later posts ūüėČ

For now, I just wanted to say a big HELLO to anyone who’s still out there.

That’s all for now.

Cheers!

Crafty Collab: Nightwing Paper Toy

Monday, November 18th, 2013

We’ve got another Crafty Collab for y’all! ¬†It’s another one from Rayenyson – the same dude who gave us the Superman,Iron Spider, and Doc Oc paper toys, just to name a few. ¬†As before, to see more of his stuff, go over to his site¬†here.

Nightwing needs no introduction.  This guy is big fan favorite, myself included.  The costume for this paper toy is based on the Young Justice cartoon, which I think is the best-looking one so far.

Without further ado, here he is ūüėČ

Crafty Collab: Silver Crow Paper Toy

Wednesday, November 13th, 2013

We have another Crafty Collab this month.  This time around, the paper toy is based on a character from the Accel World anime series.  The feature character is Silver Crow, the main protagonist of the series.

Credits and compliments go out to Ephraim (FM to his friends) Rulloda from the Philippines. ¬†He used Flash, Photoshop, as well as (ancient tools like) pencil, paper and a scanner to design this collab. ¬†Really cool I think ūüėČ

FM sent me a couple more collabs to share with you guys.  Watch out for those soon.

Crafty Collab: Alex Mercer Paper Toy

Wednesday, November 6th, 2013

We start off this month with a uber Crafty Collab from the talented Mr. Emmo Hernández.  He is a student from México, who, much like many mexicans, really loves tacos!  Aside from arts and crafts and parkour, he enjoys any type of music related to Rock РClassic, Rock & Roll, and Alternative.

“My name is Alex Mercer. I’m the reason for all this. They call me a killer, a monster, a terrorist… I’m all of these things.”

Crafty Collab: Superman Paper Toy

Monday, October 7th, 2013

Aaaand we’re back!

This time around with a collab from Rayenyson, the same guy who gave us the Iron Spider and Doctor Octopus paper toys Рjust to name a few.  If you want to see more of his stuff, go over to his site here.

This is a job for…

SUPERMAN!!!

I took some time reviewing the comment posts on the blog it seemed there were requests for Superman and the Justice League characters. ¬†Since I already released a batman / Dark Knight a while back, why not follow it up with the Man of Steel? ¬†Maybe it starts of a series of paper toys based on characters from the DC comic universe. ¬†It could happen ūüėČ

Many thanks to Rayenyson as always.

The template can be downloaded here.  You’ll find him in the DC Universe section along with Bane and the Cat Woman (coming soon).  Subscribe to this blog to receive the password in the mail and gain access to the downloads section.  Registration is free, just enter your email address in the subscribe field at the right-hand side of the page header.

The Trench Coats are Coming ‚Äď Grifter

Wednesday, July 31st, 2013

Hey there kiddies!

So I just realized that Grifter is part of the DC Universe.  It dawned on me when I saw him in the new DCU movie РJustice League: The Flashpoint Paradox.  This is the movie based on the comic book miniseries by Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert.   Grifter has a small part there Рwith speaking lines too LOL, just like everyone else I guess, since the movie focused more on Flash, but seeing Grifter in animated splendor was cool nonetheless.

If you haven’t seen the movie yet, I recommend that you do.

The Flashpoint Paradox - Go Watch It!!!

Grifter, the last of the “Trench Coats” ( for now at least ), is now ready to be downloaded. ¬†Go on now, print, assemble, and enjoy.
