Crafty Collab: Beware of the Kaiju Paper Toys Part 4 – Godzilla 1954

Here he is folks!

Presenting the next big Kaiju from the Shaun Breedlove collection!

Godzilla (AKA Gojira), the King of the Monsters

I’d say this guys is the most famous Kaiju of them all.  Weighing in with a string of movies, cartoon series, and toys under his belt.  Go find out more about this bad boy here.

One more thing (before you download the template) – that mighty fine image by Shaun above is a photo manipulation of his paper toy along with a Fotomo designed by Kimio Itozaki – just giving credit where credit is due 😉 .  Very cool image methinks!  I hope to see more in the future.

  4. joe says:

Thanks for all theses paper crafts especially anguirus. I thought it would be cool if you done biollante next.

  5. Shaun says:

Glad you like ’em. I have already created and sent a few other kaiju that are, at the moment, wait-listed until James gets a chance to post them. In all, there are 9 that I’ve completed but that aren’t on the site yet. But biollante is on my to do list. I’m also going to be making both versions of her. Rose form and final.

  6. Joe says:

Cool. I bet the final version will be epic. well. then all of your papercrafts are great!

Just a note to say that your papercraft kaiju are great! I recently tried my hand at some, and made a little diorama. I put some photos on my blog with a plug for your site!

    Hey Sam,

COOL diorama. Credits go out to Shaun too of course. His collabs are great. I’ll write about your post later this year. Can you tell me who to credit for the buildings?

    Cheers!

  9. samtheq says:

    Cool, glad you like it!
I lost the link for the buildings, but I found it again with some searching:

    http://papermau.blogspot.com/2011/07/desktop-architecture-serie-02.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Papermau+%28Papermau%29

They are called “Desktop Archetecture Series 2” by “Papermau.” I just printed them out half-sized so they would be smaller in scale.

    thanks again!
