Meet the Spartan!

“You see, old friend? I brought more soldiers than you did.”

That was one of my favorite lines from the “300” movie.

Madness...?

King Leonidas, the paper toy, is now available for download.  As mentioned in an earlier post, he comes with a spear, sword, shield, cape, and helmet.  I also experimented with his arms – since 300 was famous for herculinean muscles, I thought our paper king should have them too.

No, for the last time, my name is not Spartacus!

And this is how the arms are supposed to look like after putting them together.

This is what happens when paper toys work out.

Looks fine I guess, but maybe that type of arm is best on a different character.  Maybe one with armor or something.  Or some other big guy like Colossus or Hellboy, we’ll see.   Anyway, in case you prefer to use the usual arm type, you still have that option.  Just switch the arms around to suit your preference.

The helmet I’m not particularly happy with either.  I liked Thor’s helmet better – I hate cutting curves (ugh!).  Just like the arms, it’s up to you if you want to keep it on or off.  Personally, Leonidas without the helmet looks more badass.

That's right, I have a helmet to protect my head, a shield to protect my arms, and a loincloth to protect my privates... Do you have a problem with that?

... so, do I look more badass to you?

That’s it for now.

Cheers!
